Whichever has the longest shelf life at the time..which in this case is dependent on where I happen to be shopping at the time.
They're likely all exactly the same milk from exactly the same factory.
Compare the Nutritional panels (only look at the 100mL column, to eliminate any "Serving Size" variation), it's the only way to discern any difference that might exist.
Don't worry about permeate - it is just a combination of components of milk that is re-added to standardise the composition of milk. A quick google check will show up loads of articles that all say the same thing.
In terms of which one to get, if you're getting any of those three, it comes from Lion or Parmalat. All the basic milk on the shelf is the same, unless you're getting something from GreenPastures, Warnambool Dairy (Great Ocean Road, Sungold, etc) or another specialty manufacturer.
I do wonder about the permeate thing.
Surely we were drinking permeate filled milk for years until recently and no-one had any problems.
I'm not worried about permeate as I do know what it is. If given the choice of milked bulked up with permeate and one without, I'll choose the one without.
That being said, I checked and apparently the coles milk doesn't contain permeate, though they don't explicitly advertise it on the bottle like woolies does.
Aldi all the way! We've got 2 Aldi stores close to us and we do our weekly groceries with Aldi. One time tried Coles local brand and not as full cream as Aldi. IMO
Have a look at this video,
http://www.abc.net.au/tv/thecheckout/clips/
use control+f and type milk, click the milk video.
it explains the difference in the milks, and what permeate is.
it's interesting to know that Coles' and Woolies' milk comes from the same source.
…..cows

nice sense of humour… like :)
I prefer Woolies milk as Jamie Oliver hand milks all the cows.
Don't be bothered…
they are EXACTLY the SAME milk from the same factory and same source same processes etc..
the only difference is…none
saw it on TV, they did a thorough investigation on it…and find out…the same…
So it's now just an ethical question?
I don't drink too much milk and really only use it for coffee so I get 2L of norco non-homogenized from my local merlo for $2.50 once a week. It's so delicious and is also Australian owned
Woolies usually. Try and avoid the Coles one as I'm not sure if it contains permeate or not and I'd prefer without.
I only shop at aldi every few weeks so getting their milk isn't very convenient.
