1/2 Price Mid Loin Pork Chops $8.49/kg & Uncle Tobys Muesli Bars 6 Pack $1.75 @ Woolies 16/7

180

Great price for home grown pork chops. Normally buy these at Vic Market for around $15/kg.

Wiki: Pork loin chops are cut from the back of the pig. Many grilling websites refer to them as "porterhouse" or "T-bone" pork chops. They look like a T-bone steak from a cow, and they contain two muscles, the loin and tenderloin. Since they cook so differently, cooking them by very fast methods is not recommended.

      Nice. Thanks.

    • I grew up on that potato & onion dish but never knew what it was called, thanks! It's also cheap, quick and easy bachelor chow.

Potato pancakes (kartoffel platzen?, not sure of spelling or even pronounciation) are also good.

Loving the half price beef scotch fillet at woolies this (last) week. Combine with this deal = full freezer.

    • Where the half price scotch fillet?
I've only seen the rump for half price in store. And can't see anything in the catalogue.

      • Its on the front page of the current catalog. Try setting your postcode to 5000 to see if its an SA only thing or something.
