Selling second hand server / switches / SAN / etc

Hi Guys,

I will be liquidating a server room for a business that is shutting down. This is totally new to me as it's outside my area of expertise, but I have 2 months to figure it out.

The equipment involves some racks, UPS, servers, small san, switches, tape drive, and other nick-nacks. There may or may not be a basically new PABX in the deal too. The servers and san have about 6 - 9 months worth of warranty on them. The core switches are ~ 3 years but the cisco maintenance agreement has lapsed and the edge switches are quite old (5+ years).

I've seen some similar stuff on sale in ebay, but other than that, does anyone know where a good place to offload this stuff (for market value)?

    What are the specs on those servers and switches?

    I might be keen on buying a couple.

      2 x Dell R710 each with 48gb ram, 2 x quad core xeons, 2 x 3.5" 150gb 15k sas drives, additional dual port intel nics, so on and so forth - basically vmware hosts
      1 x Dell R710 with 8gb ram, a single quad core xeon, 4 x 2.5" 300gb 10k sas drives, additional dual port nic, scsi card - basically for tape backup
      1 x Dell R300 - not sure what it has
      2 x Cisco 3750X 24 x 1gbps ports no POE, layer 3 image
      2 x Cisco 3750 24 x 10/100 ports no POE (one has 2 x 1gbps SFP modules), layer 3 image I think
      6 x Cisco 2950 24 x 10/100, 5 with 2 x 1gbps (basically ancient)

      There are also 2 x APC 42u racks, 2 x APC 5kva UPS (one with an additional battery pack), 1 x APC environmental monitor, 1 x 5 port USB over ethernet device, MD3200i iscsi san with 12 x 450gb 15k sas disks (full), MD1200 san expansion with 3 x 2tb 7.2k nl-sas disks (9 bays empty), HP rackmount tape box with an lto2 and lto4 drive (and 5 or 6 new lto 4 tapes).

      I can get more detailed specs on a weekday if they tickle your fancy.

    r300 sounds like a 2007 or so spec
