So many things wrong with that spec.
The photo does look a little light in colour compared to my usual: two parts vodka, one part coffee liqueur. Add ice, stir with finger, drink, repeat, fall asleep.
I'm doing 1:1 ratio right now with this vodka:Kahlua… Seems alright!
Dry July where I am :(
@smokenmirraz: Wherever that is sounds terrible.
3/4 Vodka + 1/4 of sparkling wine and you are asleep. This is old Russian recipe called aurora borealis.
Says 38% on DM description.
Thanks, updated description.
From memory it was 40% for ages, then dropped to 37.5%, they then put it back up to 40%.
So if this is the case they've changed it AGAIN.
The image has 40% written on the bottle.
Saw it at Dan's today at 37.5%
weird! 40% on the bottle, 38% on the website and actual sighted is 37.5%
@soyea:
And my bottle that I bought from Dan Murphy's last time it was on special (4-8 weeks ago) has 38% printed on it.
Was 38% (37.5 = 38 anyway if rounding) when I was there last week. Actually checked since I heard it was back to 40%. Grabbed a bottle of Zytnia instead.
Great price for a really decent vodka.
Nothing beats Polish vodka, russian has nothing on them. But if your pissed it prolly makes no difference for those looking to do that.
If you're looking for a different spirit that overall does well and reasonably cheap, for an extra dollar you can get nelson county bourbon. Surprisingly good, if you're just going for cheap relatively tasty liquor, and coke/ cola is so cheap anyhow :)

Employee in store said it won against a blind test, against Jack Daniels. Tastes smoother as well, imo.
Edit: don't forget to use cashrewards or a similar cash back site, for another 7.5% discount, or so :)
Cue Black Russian recipe:
