Android Rooted device. How to Un-root it and install Original ROM for warranty

Hi Fellow ozbargainers

My SG3 4G is starting to drop connections randomly and its starting to become problomatic.

Its rooted with Pandoriam v6.6 installed.

If i reflash it to the official telstra samsung ROM, will that return the device to original unrooted state.

I called samsung and they said a rooted device voids the warranty.

Thanks :)

  • Problem is that Samsung will know it's been rooted due to a toggle that cannot be undone in the bootloader (?)
EDIT: Looks like your link wipes that too..

    • There should be an option that should allow you to "uncheck" the tamper flag in the phone… Not 100%, considering Nexus phones allow you to do so
