Planning to go to the snow this winter any ozbargain tips you guys could offer for rentals/hire/lesson?

  Murrays and Greyhound offered a 1 day trip from Canberra to the snow, included ski/snowboard hire and lessons. Appeared to be quite a good deal imo (although i've never done it - a friend said its a looong day)
