Ever wished you could take part in a real game to destroy a $49,000 vehicle? Well your wish is now granted!

Have you ever bought a product or service that has let you down so badly, you just don’t trust it any more?

Note: I am not associatated with this guy in anyway but would love to see this happen. There are only 24 hours to go and without ozbargain's help I don't think he'll make it.

I find what he is doing more honourable than trading in the car for some other sucker to buy, and hopefully you do too!

    I really like what hes doing, the idea that a company has to stand by its product is a massive benefit to all consumers.

        I think he means the ones in 2011 or so.. When they failed to recall, came at a cost of peoples lives… Also DGS transmission is scary car to service hence why I dont think ill ever buy a car with DSG eg. VW,Audi,Skoda etc..

    spoilt grapes, he was offered 0ver 22k for it (used value after 4 years use) and knocked it back and now is doing this. with all the parts getting damaged so no use to others thier unlike if he had offered to scrap it first; its all about the new 'look at me' youtube age.

    we need lemon laws, true but this is a bad joke and won't help

    oh, never buy a car from the US and Jeep are crap, what did you expect?

    So the bloke buys a $49,000 vehicle totally unsuited to his lifecycle (he notes its never been offroad) and quite frankly a ptrol guzzling waster of resources. And then decides to trash and burn the thing so it can't even be recycled.

    Hard to feel for him. Might have done if it had been a $15,000 gas miser and he had sent the other $34,000 to his favourite charities.

    But I do like the negative press that jeep will get out of this stunt.

    If he really wants to smash his jeep, he could do so already. But instead he wants a refund for his car, since the dealer won't refund the amount he wishes, he's getting other people to chip in and pay for his bad choices.

    If you give me $30k I'll let you smash my car.
