ANZ transaction account fees

So I did a silly thing a while back and opened an ANZ transaction account to get the $100 bonus. I forgot all about depositing the $2k. I opened up online banking today, fees and interest have been applied even though there is no balance(now negative balance). If I call to close will they waive these fees since there has been no deposits?

    may need to pay the fees and close account.. do it sooner rather then later. Getting a bad credit rating over this would be silly

    Yes give them a call, they should wipe the fees and close.

    Just pay the fees, chalk it up to experience and move on

    Called up then, the girl on the phone waived the fees without any dramas.
