CBA issued Amex where are offers accessed

Hi all,

CBA offered me a good deal on a MasterCard, the caveat was I had to take an CBA Amex as part of the deal, I already have an Amex so didn't really want it but thought it may be useful to have 2 just to double catch some of the Amex offers on offer lately.

Can anyone tell me where I can view/access the offers available on Bank issued Amex cards?

I can seem to find any tabs etc in net banking and unsurprisingly I couldn't register the new card directly through Amex (that process referred me back to the CBA)

  • I rang CBA once in regards to an AMEX deal but I was told it did not apply for CBA Amex issued cards. Maybe give them a call first?

  • ye Amex and CBA Amex are totally different. Normally deals you see on ozbargain are related to Amex cards, not bank issued…if that makes sense

CBA give Amex's with all Credit cards now because they have some agreement. Just think of it as a standard CC which offers more points than your MSCD. Use it where possible, unless there's a surcharge greater than MSCD

go here if you want to activate your card…it should point you into the right direction

  • Thanks amexconnect.com.au did the trick - many offers available to bank issued amex's, inc the latest $25 back on $150 spend at Bing lee. Thanks to all who replied.

  • What about the recent woolworths offer
