    Too difficult!

Just give me $10000 cash and a new jeep free.

With free delivery to vic park 6101.

  • not much of a competition, you lose $1000 if you cant make it

  • That's expensive… Any EOFY deals?

    Damn, thats one ugly car

Truth be told, $10k would be my top dollar for a Jeep anyway…

  • nvm

Lets hope no one kills themselves or others while driving like a lunatic to be one of the 10

  • Whats the retail on these puppies?

maybe this should be posted in the forums, or as a deal itself. Only 24 hours to go. Would love to see this happen.

  • Hi Rep,

May I know the size of Ford Focus LX LS sedan 2007 model ?

    Thank you

    • wrong deal mate

"The Remote Dealership" sounds like it is somewhere in middle of NT. If this was a case then It would cost a decent money to just get there.

    • +2

Nah, Jeep would never make it that distant…they know the chances of a Jeep making it back to civilisation are more remote than the dealership! :P

  • Its location is between Sydney and Brisbane I think

  • Could anyone call the number!?

  • +1

Their line was completely dead from the get-go; I had their number on pre-dial and spammed it at exactly 9:00 and couldn't get through(found it early by forwarding my phone clock 30mins) and my application is also pointing South East from Sydney's CBD - I believe it should be pointing West? They said it was located 30km from Broken Hill…

    Broken competition all up…

    • +1

they said it would be at 9:00:20 as people found out the number - like you did :-), couldnt get through either …

    • Broken HILL competition?

  • The wife and I tried as soon as I got the number which was soon after 9am. The app crashed on my phone but the wife got the number up quick as. We called approx 30 times between us. Made it through 3 times to a recording saying the number was wrong or it was not in use. Frustrating to be told we had the wrong number I would have preferred to et a recording saying you've missed out or something. Oh well!! It was a great promotion and hopefully there will be more. I was expecting (and willing) to drive to central Australia for it!!

After a dozen or so failed attempts from within the first minute, downloaded an auto-dialer which dials after 2 second of hanging while I was driving to work. Total of 310 times… nothing. Odds were as good as lotto…

    • Lotto is easier. At least you can access an entry.

I never seen such a worst deal. Tried direct from NGN global switch but no hope.

  • +3

Well that was a (predictably) useless waste of time. :(

  • I was thinking Broken Hill and almost posted to that effect here a day or so ago (there is a dealership there). In hindsight that was always going to be wrong as the location clue was "near" one of the oldest mining towns in Australia. Congratulations to those lucky 10 that got one for $10K. I hope OzBargain is represented.

I lost valuable time turning on location settings. The app compass pointed north and I'm in Brisbane - via North Pole maybe?

I came across two Facebook groups that are trying to do something about this promotion fail:

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/573930196049208/573972552711…

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/573930196049208/573970009378…

I had issues with the app last night (compass displaying). The app looked like it was working this morning (latest gen. Android phone) but understandably the lines were congested. However, I was angry to find out the number had been leaked and supposedly some of the buyers got through before 9:00AM.
