Rwanda Inzovu Coop Specialty Single Origin Coffee Fresh Roasted and delivered to your doorstep

About Rwanda Inzovu Washed
What makes Rwanda Inzovu coffee so special is that it’s produced by over 25,000 smallholder coffee farmers. Where the majority of the farmers only have around about 200 trees each to look after. The coffee production in Rwanda has seen exponential growth, benefiting the countries economic wellbeing. Due to the popularity and quality of this coffee, over the last several years the price paid directly to the farmers has significantly increased.

Cupping Score 88.75
These sweet, juicy coffee beans are suited to both light and darker roasts boasting notes of jasmine and vanilla. Inzovu Co-op is a clean cup with a good body and spine and was awarded a cupping score of 88.75 by a team of coffee bean experts at the Rwandan cup of excellence in August last year.

The Inzovu is a special project where only specially selected lots are combined together in order to supply rosters with a consistent specialty quality coffee available in larger volumes. The coffee it self is grown in fertile volcanic soil. The altitude ranges from 1200 to 1800 meters above sea level across all of the farms. The harvest takes place from March all the way through to July. After the cherry has been harvested it is then brought into a washing station, for processing. The coffee is graded, milled, hand sorted and sun dried on tables. Inzovu comes from a number of different wet mills including Coffee Vilages, Gasange, Gitesi, Izere, Karama, Kigembe, Kirezi, Mahembe, Mayogi, Mukindo, Mutovu, Mwasa and Nasho.

great to see 250g for a good price with free shipping. I pay the same at my local roaster, but getting it delivered much more convenient and have been meaning to try these deals for a while.

I wish these were the subscriber prices.

Nah, regular customers should pay more.

  • How will this coffee be in my espresso machine? In Brisbane I generally buy Merlo or Di Bella espresso blends. I buy the beans and grind them on use. I like a nice robust espresso. Very interested if these beans suit that purpose?

    • Yes these should suit espresso fine although I do have some other fantastic single origins that are great for espresso also for a future order :-)

  • Just in time.Ordered.
Bean wanting to try your coffee for awhile.
    Cheers wpw
