Amaysim- Extra 30 Days Validity for As You Go Plan at Woolworths, Big W & Dick Smith

440

I recharged my Amaysim As you go plan yesterday at Woolworths and got 30 extra days of validity. SO usually it lasts 90 days, now it is 120. May not be useful for heavy users, but for people who use it as a secondary phone and have less usage it would be helpful.

** Now last an extra 30 days when you recharge at any participating woolworths, woolworths petrol, Dick Smith or Big W outlet.**

you might wanna read Gorian4's question again…

    • No idea how long this will be on. The recharge voucher doesn't say anything more about it than the picture I attached.

This has been on going for awhile now, but as it is still a special/different to others it is still a deal

    • +1

yes, has been so for years

So, that means I can get a $40 recharge and get 2 months of Unlimited Calls and SMS and 4GB data for those 2 months, that's a bargain.

Or does this only work for Pay As you Go?

        • +2

          Only the PayAsYouGo plan

  • Does this include in pre paid $39.90 recharge?

  • +1

I could see this useful for all those emergency phones that kids supposedly carry these days without sticking it on postpaid.

PS: When did it jump up to 90 days? I changed to postpaid cause I could never spend $10 so I went postpaid (Still waiting to pay for December onwards)

  • OMG i just top up via Amaysim website today!
When is the due date for this promotion?

    • +1

The recharge voucher doesn't say anything about the due date of this promotion. You might be able to get a revert on your top up. You can try chatting with their online support

      • +1

Just chatted, I can't imagine they really refund for me!
Going to Wollies to have a look today.

Meh… I think this is only applicable to the 90 day As You Go Plan.. Yes, useful for someone who wants a second phone for some odd reason barring all current plans with cheap calls…

  • Is it for any recharge amount?

    • +1

I did a recharge of $10 which I think is the minimum recharge amount.

This thread spiked my interest in amaysim. Made the switch from Telstra. I rarely use my phone, only emails, etc and have been paying $30/month with Telstra. Thanks OP!

I hope you used a referral link?

    • amaya is good option for your needs. signed up my mother in law to amaya 6 months ago and get bills around $3 a month as she only uses it for emergencies.

  • Moving counter cyclical to others increasing costs warrants community support.

  • Just top up at Wollies.
Love this deal, useful for me.
    Can I +10 instead of +1?

    • Glad that it helped you.. :)

  • Can I buy a voucher at the self-service check out kiosk or must I go to an attended register?

    • +1

yup I bought it at self service check out
      there is a recharge option

      • thanks

  • I wonder if I can top up other SIM cards in woollies, such as the one from Yatango?
