From the website:
The Replay Capture Suite contains seven incredibly handy software programs that provide all the tools you need to capture media from the internet. You can record radio, save music as MP3 files, download video, and convert and edit your recorded files.
As a July 4th sale, Applian are discounting the Replay Capture Suite by $17.76 USD. I was looking at buying a single copy of Replay Media Catcher for $49, and was considering grabbing the suite simply for Replay Video Capture (which is a screen capture recorder, for any streams that Media Catcher may not be successful with). Deciding to do a quick search for coupons before making a decision I came across the discount on their blog.
I've tried a lot of different downloaders over the last few months trying to find something to easily download videos from a subscription site I've been with for a while that had stopped working with StreamTransport. Replay Media Catcher was the only software, paid or otherwise, that could download complete RTMP/HDS streamed video easily and reliably (some other software could grab individual HDS chunks, but often missed chunks, and the only way to put the chunks together, often up to several hundred of them, was to use a PHP based tool).
For those who say that there's lots of free downloaders already, I challenge you to find one that isn't loaded with malware (looking at you Orbit Downloader!) and can download as wide a range of videos. AFAIK, there is nothing else around that can handle HDS streams as well as this (and more and more sites seem to be moving to HDS streams).
Would this be software future-proof?
Meaning if they update their versions, would you still be eligible for the license?
