We are a small operator whose primary focus is to provide a hosting service which we run and maintain ourselves, and which can provide you with a more personal hosting experience.
This service would be suited to those non-technical people running blogs and websites, who may require the occasional bit of EXTRA support with their day-to-day operations.
The advantages to our service are:
• Friendly, personal support. We will look after you.
• Instant support: we are instantly available via Skype and EMail during Australian business hours (8am to 6pm). Outside of those hours, we are still readily available. Phone support is available at a small extra cost per month.
• Flexible hosting packages: we provide a 2GB / 15GB plan as standard (that's 2GB disk storage, 15GB of data transfer per month). But we are flexible and willing to tailor packages to your needs. Just let us know what it is you require. Need more storage space or databases? Just ask. We are not willing to host porn and video websites however.
• Accurate Info: for those times when you're having problems, we will be able to accurately inform you of what the problem is, and why. We run the servers so there is no man-in-the-middle or any phone-monkeys to deal with. The person you speak to administrates the servers, or is at least in direct contact with someone who does.
• Affordable Support for those times when you need a bit more than just advice and server support. As a hosting client, our rates for development and design work are easily more affordable than anywhere else. You would be looking at $60 an hour or less (depending on the work you require, and how many hosting accounts you have with us).
• Custom-components: we are flexible with server-side components. If your web apps require something special server-side, let us know and we can probably accommodate you.
Our platforms are LINUX-based so if you are running .NET applications, we would not be an appropriate host for you.
We SPECIALISE in Joomla and Wordpress, and can not only host these websites, but also provide solid and experienced support.
We run cPanel on our main servers, so you have full control.
DNS: we generally do not provide DNS hosting as part of the service, and the servers themselves do not offer DNS functionality in cPanel. This is for performance reasons. We recommend you use your domain registrar’s DNS service. We are happy to help you with DNS if you are not confident about what to do.

DOES YOUR SITE USE SSL? Keep in mind that changing servers requires new signing requests and new certificates to be generated. Plan ahead! Let us know if you need help.
Also, SSL requires a unique IP address. These cost $6.50 per month and are not free during the 30 day offer.
FAQ: Why would I pay $169 a year when I can get a cheaper service elsewhere, with more storage and bandwidth?
If you’re happy with your current host, then I’d recommend sticking with them. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it :)
This is a personal service, we’re not a big shop. The idea is if you run a website but are not that technical and find yourself in trouble sometimes, or have to hire help on occasions, we may be of benefit to you. While we won’t fix your broken website for free, we may be able to take a peek and offer advice that sets you on the right track. A second set of experienced eyes can go a long way. We also offer cheap rates for development and troubleshooting.
With regards to storage and bandwidth; do you even use it? Storage is understandable (and we are flexible with that), but bandwidth is often sold in mass quantities to users and hardly ever used in full. Most of our clients use less than 10% of their monthly bandwidth. If you think moving to our service is worth it, go and check out your current usage history to see how much bandwidth you really need. You might be surprised.
We do not load-up servers with 500+ domains like a lot of the big guys do. We prefer to keep things small and manageable, and reduce the chance of problem users. EVEN if we do load-up servers, now that we are cloud-based, it's not really an issue.

ABOUT CLOUD-BASED STORAGE: With storage devices hosted and managed elsewhere on the network, separate to the servers themselves, there is less dependency on hardware. Because of virtualisation, hardware failures no longer mean downtime. Both the server and the storage can fail, but the cloud will pick-up the data and continue on.
ABOUT SOLID STATE STORAGE: The biggest bottleneck on any computer, even the fastest servers, has always been with data storage. But with no moving parts, SSD drives have reduced, and in some cases eliminated, those bottlenecks. SSD storage is perfect for busy servers.
