Good price for Asus windows 8 10" tablet for $299

Wonder how good that processor is. I've got an Asus T100 that has a quad core and it lags at times.
The Atom Z2760 is a well an Atom, slow…. How do I know? I've owned a few Win 8 tablets with the same processor.
Nicest of the bunch feature-wise is the Dell Latitude 10 ST2 (Win 8.1 Pro, Office 2013 Pro, Wacom input, dock, 3G/4G, m-HDMI, TPM, USB/SD card ports, 3 year Pro support warranty).
This Asus is good for the price though, considering the Dell retailed for $1k+
If you want speed from a Win 8 tablet, then you need to spend more for a iCore device (surface pro, etc.).
Another good deal is the Gigabyte R9 280 only 249 + del

It seems amazing at first glance, but be aware of the differences between an R9 280 and an R9 280X.
It's still a decent card, but it's barely keeping up with Triple-A games circa now.
Would love to put a couple of these in Raid0…

Nothing more
Jealous?
Of some amazing number, on paper, but does nothing for day-to-day performance… but introduce serious risk of losing all data.
Um. Yeah. I'm jealous.
any good deals on: ?

Has a fellow OzBargainer bought from centrecom? The prices seem too good to be true.
dreamy…
Yups, if you're worried about it, just go to their shops.
None in Perth unfortunately.
RAID 2 here I come!
Thanks, but what is this for?
Second paragraph. :)
I think you mean "RAID 0"
I just brought a new laptop (MSI GT60) and it says "Super RAID 2", but I guess they actually mean RAID 0.
@congngo:

Special MSI hardware than holds 2 mSata drives (RAID0), and a HDD.
how has no one noticed this? http://www.msy.com.au/pc-components/5395-samsung-840bw-evo-m…
Different drive? Pro vs Evo. I think the Pro is $129 @ MSY
EVO's are the new ones. Better drive with better features.
As far as I know, the Pro version is produced for business level which is renowned for its reliability. On the other hand, EVO version is for home users or common users.
120 vs 128GB
That is true, a faster drive and a better price, but msy.
The Centrecom Intel 530 120GB SSD is actually a bit faster than this one…
Intel are one of the best drives BUT you pay for it!
it's only $6 more
http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Samsung-840-Pro-128GB-v…
The Intel 530 model did not perform well in this comparison test.
That strange, the Intel spec says 500 bps write, not 100…
I have an Intel 530 and Samsung Evo.
The EVO is the faster drive.
Not related to this drive but to the DTD sale.
Does anyone know if centrecom do refunds or whatever for items that have come on sale?
I bought an Asus V551LB-CJ162H notebook from them last week at $849 and in this sale it is $749. Not sure how it would work being an online deal.
I am confused - i click the link and it is $135…
Sold out
Price is $139
