I don't think they'd deny that… you can always buy 1 glasses for a cheaper price too.
I got a pair of selectspecs online glasses for $A20 (shipped) for 1 pair if that helps you compare.
My friend works at an optometrist and says that specsavers aren't that cheap. All the deals you get and that are offered are for either things that are old models. Also there are alot of hidden terms and conditions like if your eyesight is worse than a certain level then they are excluded as well which are not seen until you physically go there to buy it.
I bought 2 pairs from specsavers recently with polaroid lens in one, and transitional in the other. All up it cost around $600 which I thought was pretty good for the 2 pairs of glasses. It just depends on what you want.
I honestly think these 2-for-1 sunglasses deals are built into their pricing structure. I've seen them advertise 2-for-1 for ages.
