$180 Telstra DATA PACK Recharge best use? (bought in old days 365 days validity with 12GB)

can any one recommend the ways to make best use of $180 Recharge Voucher ?

I bought this few weeks back to use 12 GB internet Data over 365 days period but now pricing has changed, only getting 10GB with 90 days validity.

So wondering best use / option to entend it for a year

If terms have changed since you bought it try getting a refund at Telstra store?

You will still get the 365 day deal…(i have had this in the past with Telstra-last time i had a $150 recharge got the same as the $180 deal :))

    • I will try my luck on this (they have reduced validity to 90 days with 10 GB data for $180 recharge)

I asked on livechat and they confirmed the $180 recharge (bought prior to 1st July) will still give 12gb/365days

  • update:

    explained below:

e.g: if plan changes after 1st July, you still using old sim ( service number) and recharged your account with old voucher bought prior 1st July. You will get old Tariff Plan rate, so in this case 365 days validity and 12GB internet Data

Scenario 2: using recharge voucher bought prior 1st July on new sim bought after 1st July, will give Tariff rate per NEW PLAN.So you get 90 days validity and 10GB data

Mine was scenario 2 ( old sim expired due to inactivity) but managed to plan validity extended for 365 days with 12GB via phone support team.
