Jims Jerky have just posted a FB special, halving the price of their 25gm packs in the Honey Soy and Bloody Hot Chilli flavours, bringing them from $5 to $2.50. They have free frieght so this is a pretty good buy if you only want a small amout of jerky (it works out better to buy bulk if you inhale this stuff though - $100/kg vs $82.50/kg for the 1kg pack).

    The trouble with owning a lot of jerky is that the (or at least my) human mind is not capable of moderating amount of salted cured meats ingested and thus, if I buy a kilo of jerky, I will eat it every single moment I am hungry until it is all gone.

      Put it into smaller bags/containers. Drink a full glass of water before you start eating
