    Im not gonna give +ve or -ve but I couldnt let a dstore bargain go without saying this.

    I hate Dstore and the last time I ordered from them they SCREWED my order majorly and their call centre staff didnt care. >_> I tell everyone how much I hate them any chance I get.

    • +3

      Sounds fair, they screwed you and you probably think that dstore can do nothing for you now (as its come and gone). It seems fake when they (dstore in this case, see dstore comment below) pretend to care about something that they did wrong before. If they cared they would have did something at the time, not an offer over a year later.

      As for you telling everyone how much you hate them, that's the best you can do as dstore didn't care at the time and probably really don't now so this is the best that can happen to a bad company.

  • A lot of the PC games seem to be old or bad. I'm sure someone would find something they like though.

  • Not Cheap at all, Sanity stores that stock games are having a games clearance that makes these look prices pathetic

  • Well, for what its worth. There are some titles in there which are not on JB Hifi's exclusion list. Therefore, if you are looking to take advantage of the trade in for a free title deal, check it out :)

  • A couple of specific specials for those that are interested:

    Buzz Brain of Oz Bundle (PS3) - $50.16:

    Far Cry 2 T Shirt Bundle (PS3) - $35.64:

    SBK 08 (Xbox 360): $17.16

    Also djkizz - I'm sorry to hear about the experience you had with your order. I realise that we've probably lost you as a customer, however I would like to investigate to ensure the same mistake doesn't happen in the future. If you could please email me your details to [email protected] (and include a reference to OzBargain in the subject), I'll look into it. Thanks!

    • To be honest it was a year and a bit ago and no-one cared enough about the mistake at the time so Im not too fussed having you look into it.

    • Yeah, I had a bit of a bad experience and am trying to decide which one of these to buy:

      xbox Wireless Racing wheel from..

      ezyelectronics = $128.58 OR
      dstore = $130.70

      anyone ordered from ezyelectronics before?

    • Why is it relevant that he includes his ozbargain name in? So you can give him special treatment? If somebody sends in a complaint, shouldnt they all be looked at equally and not just the ones that complain on a forum given attention.

  • Tell me about it if this is a bargain…

    Wii Super Smash Bros. Brawl
    List: AU $99.95
    Sale: AU $84.48

    I don't think so!!!

    • +2

      Agree!

  • Never had a problem with them. Also had a free delivery voucher to use so good deal for me.

  • +1

    This isnt a bargain.

    It selling halo 3 for $88 when ebgames is selling them for $50.

    This is not a bargain.

  • Saw plenty there in the PC section that I would consider bargains. Not so much for the consoles.

  • Great bargains to be had in the PC section - even cheaper than Steam in most cases.

  • A bunch of shovel-ware titles for cheap, might be good for trade bait, but and the popular titles have 'special' prices not worth writing home about…

  • Tabula Rasa for PC on special? Tabula Rasa closed as of February 28, 2009. I'd hate to install it and find that out. There are a couple of pc deals like sacred 2 for less than $10.

    • use any one of getprice or shopbot or myshopping.com.au or even au.shopping.com to compare prices first, as I diont think theres that many bargains (and certainly not 1300 of them!!)

      dstore is definately NOT the place for bargain video games - most items are now just competitively priced, with the odd reasonable deal, thatyou can get elsewhere.

  • crap bargains for ps3, taget have some of those games 20bux cheaper (sega mega collection) dont know what kind of specials they think there doin

    • Not much of a deal here - Games101 and Cheapgames offer better deals daily and they arent shouting about it
