One of the Winds I bought broke down. MSI handled the warranty directly and I had it back within a week. Most computer goods are handled that way.

Manufacturers may provide support directly to consumers (which may be optimal if it is offered), however, warranties are legally the responsibility of sellers:-
Each sale is a contract between the seller and the consumer. So if the seller breaches the contract by providing goods that do not meet a statutory warranty or condition, it is their responsibility to provide a remedy. If a seller has to return goods to a manufacturer for assessment or repair, the seller should arrange delivery.
I can confirm that warranty is NOT handled by fluidtek.
MSI headquaters at auburn sydney will pickup the unit from you via courier and return it to you without you having to even get out of your house :P
All you need is to package the invoice with the unit when they pick it up!

If Eddie/Eddy did what he claims, he would be manless many times over (if it was possible). He is not always the cheapest, though he is certaintly one of the worst/rude retailers I have ever been too.He is also the "funniest" :)

to be honest , grey import , red import , yellow import , who cares , as long as Msi does the Warranty . And a note on that matter , MSI carries International Warranty . So any colour import will do .
pretty good deal. I got mine from OnlineComputer for $568 with 2gb of RAM and no hassle with having to deal with the Fluidtek owner lol!
It also came with a matching leather sleeve :) Or maybe they all come with that?
Just go in there with a gas mask and your wallet firmly strapped to your leg and pray there is no need for a warranty claim.
