When Australia starts bulk exporting LNG the price of local natural gas will drift towards the world price. Japan pays triple the price of what we pay for wholesale gas. Something to think about.

I don't know about NSW, but switched to PowerShop in VIC. We are saving a real 30% by buying their prepaid packages. Higher power household. As far as my experience goes, they don't appear to do the cold calling, door knocking and general irritating shit that AGL / others do.
