Samsung UA65H6400AW 65" 3D Smart 100 Hz LED TV $2380 @ Appliance Central

70

Samsung 65"(165cm) FHD LED 100Hz 3D Smart TV

Voice control. 4 x HDMI and 3 x USB inputs. Includes 2 pairs 3D glasses. 1 year warranty.

Cheapest I have seen so far, RRP is about $2700-2800 @ TGG & HN. Great TV, proving to be one of the most popular models this year with the best picture quality in this price bracket. Sony 800/850B picture quality not as good, although it does handle motion better than the Samsung which may be important if you are a serious gamer.

  • now let's see how much it will rise on sunday when you can get it 20% off through ebay.

edit: NVM inconsistance price to ebay.. same TV cost $2789..http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-UA65H6400AW-65-165cm-Full-HD-Smart-LED-LCD-TV-NEW-from-Appliances-Onlin-/281348599887?pt=AU_Televisions&hash=item4181aef04f&_uhb=1

    • Appliances Online isn't the same as Appliance Central.

    • Not inconsistent…

      Different ABN, different company.

[Edit: as mentioned in previous poster, too slow!]

      • Whoops.. ok sorry about that.

    • It's still $150 cheaper on Sunday through appliances online though, right? Free shipping with both companies (from my checking at least).

      $2,798 * 80% = $2,231.2

I think the discount is limited to $200, so you are looking at an item around $1000 to get maximum discount.

The ebay 20% off is maxed at $200 per transaction so it is $2,589 @ Appliances Online with the discount.

      • Thanks, you are quite right. Good price OP, have an upvote.

        • Appliance Online will pricematch Appliance Central and give you the option of paying C.O.D if that suits you better.

        • I'd love to but 65" is too wide to fit through my front door :)

How did you get your bed inside your house?

My preference was to look stupid rather than whipped. Truth is if I spent this much on a TV the missus would have me sleeping in the kennel. Definitely couldn't get the TV in there.

  • anyone ever dealt with these guys before?

    • HI I ordered a MHI air conditioner mid February online with no problems.had the installer pickup the unit so can't comment on the delivery side of things.

Their bricks & mortar store is Betta Electrical at Bonnyrigg Plaza.

  • Had The Good Guys price match this when it was $2500 from Appliance Central with no issues, now claiming the drop in price (120% of the difference back) under their 30 day Price Guarantee.

    • What do you think of the telly? I am going to TGG to get one tomorrow.

Overall really happy, remote "pointer" takes some getting used to but that's only a minor issue.

        • Cool. How about the picture? Looks nice from what I've reviewed. Also have you had a chance to test input lag from a gaming console? And also general lag from the smart interface? Thanks mate.

Picture quality is awesome compared to the Toshiba I used priority this.
Haven't got a console to test, have tried the smart interface twice just to see what it's like, it's reasonably fast but I have it hooked up to a HTPC so no real need for it. Tested out the conversion from 2d (1080p) content to 3d as well and it is actually quite amazing, was surprised as I didn't think I'd like it.

        • Nice. I am going to pick one up now. Thanks for the review.

  • PQ is amazing on these TV's. At this price, its a great value buy.
