Hey guys. I got MK8 as part of a bundle. Not really interested in any of the games as I already have Wind Waker and probably won't have time to play others anyway. Just wondering if the code is attached to me or if it's possible to sell the code? If yes, I'm happy to sell it for $30 if anyone is interested.. I'll probably repost in the Selling forums. Thanks!

Wait, so in the scenario I bought MK8, claimed a code on my club nintendo account and used it to claim for Pikmin 3, I could still technically buy a code off taniiah for $30?
I believe that you can only register a game once. So no you wont be able to use the code if you already registered MK8.
I think he meant if he can just buy the download code off me, not register my copy of MK8.. I just got told it's a simple eShop code.
You cant reg the code if you have already I believe but if you pay tanliah $30 he can reg the copy of mario on his club account then pick the game you want. Once he has done that he will get a eshop code which he can provide you.

Whether I could use the taniiah's free game code after she has registered her copy of MK8 on her nintendoclub account even though I have claimed my MK8 code and registered for a free gameIf you really want it just create another profile on your Wii U. Make a Nintendo Club account for it and register her MK8 on there and redeem the game on that profile. Then download it on your Wii U. Thats what everyone else was doing.

Just make another Nintendo Club account yourself and then rinse and repeat how you got the game code last time.
You don't need to make several Wii U eshop logins/accounts.
Wii U eShop account is the same as your Nintendo Club account………
when you choose a game you will get a code for that game that will work on any Wii U account because the code isn't linked to your club Nintendo account. So you only have to create multiple club Nintendo accounts and keep using your main Wii U account.

They are talking about the final code. The code for the game download can be used on any console under any club nintendo account.
However, to actually activate mario kart and get the game download code, you need to use a new club nintendo account, one that has never redeemed mario kart.
What Im suggesting is the person just buy the mario kart code from you, make their own separate account, redeem it on that account and use the code they get on their wii u under which ever account they want (most likely their main account) as apposed to having you do the redeeming and such.
Unfortunately have already redeemed the MK8 code and have the link to select my game of choice. Didn't want to go through the next stages in case it confirms my selection. Might give Nintendo a buzz since no one seems to really know. I'll let you know what they say.
i just sold a code on ebay, the code which is generated for the game is redeemable on any wii u console
Just confirming this is the free game code and not the Mario Kart 8 code?
Just an FYI, if you scour ebay.co.uk you can get the codes fairly cheap, picked up quite a few for £10 and also picked four more up off a forum for £7, $12-$18 for each of those games is a steal.
It's technically feasible to sell the code since Nintendo doesn't link the game to the account playing or anything. Keep in mind the code needs to be reclaimed and game 'installed' (install button pressed) by next Tuesday.
