I am shopping for better deal on gas and electrics and came xross this company powershop.com.au
They claim to be an online power company with meter reading delivered to smartphone or tablet on a daily basis. Not sure about the saving but it seems to be a great concept. Anyone has any experience with them?

Lots of offers earlier in year. seem to have short one day specials on web site about once a month.
worth reading and sometimes re-reading to understand how best to take advantages of their pay ahead packages.
I have just joined so trying to work it all out even though those like me, with solar, pay higher rates than those who do not have it. It is really trying to be environmentally green and that is an important selling point for some. good luck.
Update: on basis of first bill I have saved about 20% on first month with comparable kWh and got my termination fee credited to my next bill. Had to send photo of original bill.
Like using visual graph to see usage pattern in half hour blocks as can see where I am using my solar power and it is not costing anything.
FYI - Powershop is now live in NSW.

I'm with powershop and I find their online system futuristic. IT is quite interactive and you can buy powerpacks to get better deals (you are assured a 20% discount for paying up ahead or 15% for paying on time.) They also have great personal service.
I took it up when I shifted to my new home and no regrets so far. Best thing is the ability to see yesterdays power usage today on my iPhone!
