I'm considering to replace my old HTC phone in this EOFY period. I am very satisfied with its performances for last two years, that why I am looking for HTC brand in the first place. But it seems that all the stores(eg JB HiFi, Dicksmith) only display different version of HTC one, which is little over budget.
My expectations: android system, quad core, over 5' screen, one day battery and acceptable camera. Almost forgot most important part, price around $350.
HTC desire 816 seem fit all my requirements. The question is that according to its official website the Desire 816 only available with optus plans. I am in the middle of a Vodafone plan and have no interest swap to optus.
Any advice about stores(MEL) or online channels for this phone? or any suggestions about other brands with similar specifications?
Kogan has it at price 329 but i don't like its dual sim version.
Buy the phone outright from an Optus store for $398?
