Somthing around the $1000 mark.. i dont require 1080p, 720p is enough as my only source of hd media is my xbox360. I did try to get my mittens on the sanyo 32inch from DSE for 699 all sold out… I peeped at the sanyo 37inch for 997 at big w and just dont think its bang for buck as i bought a 42inch acer over a yr and half ago for 900bucks… i know the dollar value dropped a tad… anyways cheers guys

Hey mate where are you located? I just won a 32inch Panasonic LCD that I do not require, RRP is $1300+ but I am open to offers. I am in South Melbourne and you could pick up immediately. Thanks.
bummer i would love to have taken that offer up but im in brissy…
It depends what you mean by cheap!
there's cheap brand names and then there's cheap no-name brands.
I would recommend going for a brand name when you're spending this kind of cash, if you're like me, you use your TV every day and don't want to have to spend money on repairs down the line then its worth investing.
there are good offers on TV's all the time here on Oz Bargain but here's one I found by typing "TV on Sale - australia" into google,

The 32" Sanyo may have sold out at DSE, but it's still going for $695 in Brisbane at this place http://computeralliance.com.au/parts.aspx?qrySearch=sanyo
They also have the 37" one you were talking about, but for $1095.
I saw a 32" AWA in the Big W catalogue for 599.
