Amazon's Description:

Now being made into a major motion picture by 20th Century Fox, with Bill Kennedy of House of Cards adapting the screenplay.

Mike Mitchell, an average New Yorker already struggling to keep his family together, suddenly finds himself fighting just to keep them alive when a bizarre string of disasters starts tearing apart the world around them. The Internet goes down. A bird-flu epidemic starts raging. Rumors spread that it's all part of a coordinated foreign attack. And then the power goes out as a monster snowstorm plunges New York into frozen darkness, becoming a wintry tomb where nothing is what it seems…and no one can be trusted…

"As a member of the Military that does 'cyber' for his job, finally we see a novel that shows how dangerous our transition to an interconnected infrastructure will become without proper safeguards…I couldn't put down!" - Karic Allegra, Joint Interoperability Command, US NAVY

What caused it? Who caused it? How can it be stopped? These questions become unimportant as Mike's family struggles to survive amid millions of people in the doomed metropolis.

"A chilling prophecy…well written, a must read for any fan of good fiction." - Ian Peterson, Official Book Review, Sci-Fi Readers

CyberStorm is a modern-day, edge-of-your-seat thriller, all the more frightening because it could happen tomorrow…

Why is this usually so much cheaper in Oz than in the US and UK Amazon stores? Big differential.

    • I was wondering the same.

Reading briefly about this guy: he started self published, then sold the book to publishers, but only for certain countries/formats in certain markets.

So different prices charged by different publishers and/or by himself?

This will be the first out of the hundreds? of free ebooks I've acquired from this site that I will most likely read more than a few pages.

    Prologue seemed pretty good.

    Cheers OP.
