Beacon seem to have cornered the market for this one. It's currently on sale for $629 from $779. That's an 'ok' deal, but I don't know … are they likely to have a better sale at some point? Is there soem other way of getting a better price that I haven't thought of?

Looks. Honest as always - I'm a sucker for the style.
We got two fan+light combos, purchased and installed for that price, and that was just the electrician's normal price - no haggling.
ok…and I could buy 2 ugly ones for $100 installed myself, but what I'm asking about is if anyone has an insight into Beacon's sales pattern, i.e. will this be as good as it gets for this product.
Are you getting this for the looks or to actually cool the place?
Because that's hell expensive, you could get an air-conditioner for that price.
