Ebay is running a promotion if you sell an item worth more than $500 then you will receive $30 coupon and you will receive coupon within 7 days

I sold an item but It's been more than a week and no coupon has been received.
I contacted their customer support team but they keep on saying they will escalate it to their operations team but they cannot issue me coupon.
Beware of these scams!

You are not the only one. Rang customer support asking where my coupon is since it's been 7 days since I sold my > $500 item and their terms say I'd get the coupon within 7 days. Rep indicated they've had a lot of complaints. Was advised they would be doing a batch run in a week to have my coupon creditted. Advised this sux because I need the coupon as intent to purchase today. US support person did their usual fob - apologies, we'll do our best, yada yada. Can't do much more other than keep fingers crossed they'll deliver.
Incompetency of customer support team does not make one a scam. Title edited.
