Following on from Woolworths offer, saw a flyer in Coles today of 20% off mobile recharges for all brands for 3 days only. As it started today, it goes through to Monday. Might be good for those who have Coles more convenient to them, or get other discounts/benefits there.

I just bought 2x Optus $30 Prepaid recharge from Coles for $48. Should last me till the end of the year.
Unfortunately doesn't include Crazy John recharges.

Yes they are!!!
Technically they are called a MVNO but they are just as much a mobile network as Virgin is.
Crazy Johns is a VSP (Virtual Service Provider) they use the Vodafone network.
Whether it's a network or not makes no difference. My phone uses crazy john recharges so this deal is useless to me.
I mentioned that crazy john recharges are not included because the 'deal' says all mobile recharges - that is not the case.

Two different Coles stores in Perth were unable to sell me Vodafone recharges. They claim they are unavailable Australia wide due to a shortage. Sounds bogus to me.
Coles Eastland and Coles at Melbourne Central both couldnt sell me Optus credit either. Not cool. A store next to Coles managed to sell me some credit though..
no recharges available for me either - since SATURDAY at my local store - dodgy!!!
I've put in a complaint - i suggest you all do too then we might get a raincheck or an extension of the offer!
The Coles we tried yesterday told us many were 'sold out'.
system was down so I got a raincheck. they asked me how many I want, I said 4. so got a rain check for 4 units of Cap 49 Vodafone. valid for 30 days.
I went to my local coles today to try and claim this and they told me they were sold out. This is a crappy "look we're competing with woolies" gimmick if you ask me.
Went to Coles today (Monday) they said they can't get it at the moment. (System down? Sold out? Something like that…) So went to Bi-Lo where the cashier tried to get me a $29 and a $69 Recharge but without success. Will try maybe later on again as the offer expire tmrw. :-/
