  • How will I get through 30kgs of coffee in a month!??

Nonetheless, great product and great seller :p

    • +1

      Haha, thanks guys ;-)

  • +1

    Your title is wrong, 2450G = 2.45KG, I would like 1000bags at that price 8 x 2.45kg = $59.95.

BUT your body description is correct 245g….fix it, please

  • oppps, it fixed.

  • on your website it says include 1 x 245g Rwanda Inzovu instead of 1 x 245g Costa Rica El Beneficio Don Mayo Estate – Yellow Honey, which one actually include ? thanks.

    • Sorry, it's the Rwanda Inzovu

      • I notice some of the blends claim to be organic, are you guys certified organic processors?

        • We do have a fair trade and organic section on our site and these coffees farms are indeed certified as such and the methods of processing used are also monitored.

We don't add anything to the coffees here in Australia or process the green coffee itself, we just roast it and sell it.

        • Heh, nice answer! I gather you're not certified organic.

        • +1

Why would a coffee roaster bother? What method in the process would be deemed organic/not organic?

        • +1

Exactly right. We only apply heat, time and experience to the roasting process ;-)

        • +1

You're not using animal waste bio-fuel from animals fed with non-organic feed to roast are you?

  • Ordered, had just put the last bag in the grinder from your last multi-special, perfect timing :-)

  • +1

    ordered thanks Manna

  • Hi, I'd like to order this deal and maybe another Aeropress please (got one from your ebay store and love it!) What would that cost me?

    • No problem, Add $39.95 to cover cost of Aeropress and additional postage cost. Please send money through Paypal to [email protected] and leave notes

      • Awesome! Thanks for that, appreciate your flexibility. I've now paid you already PayPal.

        • Mine arrived already. Looking forward to enjoying some

  • I just make 4-5 strong cups a week. Would this deal not be recommended because it would take too long to go through the bags?

Ideally, how long could I keep these before I would start to notice a flavour change?

    • +1

Ideally, you would drink the coffee within 4 weeks of roast date before it goes 'stale'. But it all depends on how picky you are with your coffee as some people can't taste the difference.

    • +1

Probably going to get shot down by the coffee "professionals", but can freeze beans for several months ?
EDIT: or just read manna's response down further :(

    • yes buy it no worries
I found 1 bag in back of cupboard that I ordered from the same previous deal before Christmas and in April/May, made a friend some and they thought it was brilliant coffee.
so even though i totally agree that it gets stale it will still be MANY time fresher that most retail coffee.
And their stuff is BL00DY GOOD

  • Hi Rep,

Been following the news about current coffee bean prices going through the roof due to poor conditions around the world. My question is will this impact coffee bean prices from your self or in general in Australia?

    • Hi Tommy, Yes you are correct, certainly there are some problems around the world with coffee growing conditions and also sustainability for farmers.

The sustainability part is something we are working on, looking to source more coffees directly where we can try to donate and help directly with the living conditions and growth of their farms and industry.

So far some prices have increased and the Aus dollar is weaker against US also which is the main currency used for green coffee sales. So far we still have access to many coffees and will continue to keep costs as low as possible whilst bringing you these deals on Ozbargains but it's difficult to coment on future possibilities of increased pricing.

Something to bear in mind is that costs already vary greatly across our green bean range with some costing us upto $100 per kg for some geishas. Although we try to bring as much variety as possible and do mix in some more expensive coffees with these deals, it does limit us as to what we can offer at these price points

  • how long would 8 packs last?

  • in terms of use by date

  • Hey guys, you can drink the coffee for months after much like what you buy from the supermarket but ideally the coffee is freshest for about 3-4 weeks and then you'll find that the flavour profiles will start to diminish.

Freezing unopened bags is one option but attracts varying opinions which you'll find discussed in forums.

Otherwise drink more coffee quicker ;-)

    • +1

IMO part of the problem with drinking 8 different varieties over a long time means potentially only 2 or 3 will be drunk at their optimum and the other 5 or 6 may not get a fair tasting. I think the best 2 options for low volume drinkers:

      1- drink more
2- find a friend or two to share the love.

    • I usually get your 2x1kg deals and always stick one bag in the freezer. It's not there more than 3-4 weeks but we never notice any downside. Most adverse comments about freezing relate to moisture, but I don't observe any moisture and a fridge/freezer de-humidifies anyway.

I think all the avoid freezing comments are just speculation. Although I would be careful about moving from cold to a warm humid environment, e.g. during summer.

  • How long is this special valid for? I want to order, but I still have 1.5kg left of the last lot I bought from you, so I'd like to wait a couple more weeks before ordering…

  • Is the coffee natural or flavored?

    • +1

It's natural, not flavoured. It's great coffee, and great value too.

  • +1

    Is it fair trade coffee?

  • Would be great if this came with multiple deliveries, one bag every 2 weeks :P.

    • That's a brilliant idea but would ready depend on how cheap we could get postage. If postage is $5 that's 20 on postage already.

  • +1

I would love to try them but way too much coffee that will be stale in a month. I think you would sell more with half size packets

  • Hi OP,

Do you or will you ever offer a coffee subscription service? The idea being that I could get fresh roasted coffee delivered once a month, but pay up front (or direct debit) for 3/6/12 month periods. Big assumption here, but I'm sure some ozbargainers would do a 12 month service at these prices +ve vote if you would do it!

    • +1

      http://www.mannabeans.com.au/coffeesubscription/

Just for reference that's what's on offer currently.

      • Thanks. No single origin subscriptions : (

Basically, 4 x 245g random single origins delivered monthly. I'll sign up for 12 months easily if it was close to this price

    • +3

Hi, If you want to sign up for a subscription then this service is available through our site and if you leave notes that you want random single origins for this then I am more than happy to action for you.

In general the best coffees we are roasting at that time will go out to our subscription customers first

Guys, I like my coffee, I WAS a massive coffee snob, freeze coffee? No F'ing way. Well I bought a couple KG from manna this one time, good deal, the extra was going to go in the bin or in the freezer, I had no choice. So divied up in 250g and froze.

That batch lasted a very long time and everytime I made a coffee I would be amazed how good it still tasted.

As soon as you freeze or refrigirate you will lose some flavour and I can taste slightly more bitterness but you can still get a good cup, certainly still better than a lot of cafes charging you for average coffee.

You are basically going from silky smooth 3 week from roast coffee and losing some of that. I'm a convert to freezing.

  • +1

Just bought! Got this and am just using organic beans from Safeway. Can't wait to try some fresh good beans!

  • +1

Great timing. Just ran out and was giving some "good branded" coffee beans that you can buy of the shelf. They are no match for your coffee. Going to place my order now. Now sure what I'm going to do with the inferior coffee though.

    • +1

Oops, bought twice but that is fine. I'll use the second order to introduce my friends to Manna Beans. You can send both orders together as one shipment.
