I was quoted $16,888 for Lancer 2013 ES MY2014 Auto. Do you guys think this is best price ?
I wanted them to throw me floor mat and tinted window, but they asked for about $700 extra.

Yeah thats why i just walked off, i will come back in the next 2 weeks.
How far do you think chris can get the dealers to bend over if he comes back nearing the end of the month, enough for them to grab their legs?

Its demo, only travelled 10 kms.
It's nothing new. Basically that price level for a while for the lancer now. A good deal none the less
NEVER get dealer window tinting, paint or fabric treatment. Total ripoff. There are plenty of people doing top tinting jobs at a fraction of the cost.
Mats and bonnet protector should be free.
They just want to milk you some more. Mooo!
The trick is to get the best price on the car, then go to another dealer and tell them that price minus $500 including mats, and BE PREPARED TO WALK OUT. They have far more experience at reading a customer than you have in reading a dealer. YOU have to set the sale price, and you will know if you have gone under cost as they will just laugh. It has worked for us with our last 3 cars. You wouldn't believe the price we got on our last brand new car, it made the dealers eyes water and we ended up sitting at the negotiating table with 2 reps and the sales manager to get it approved.

Part of Mitsubishi's End Of Financial Year sale is $2000 cashback. It has just occurred to me though that it may not apply to all vehicles.

Recently bought a 2011 manual CJ ES Lancer (2011 production, MY11) for 13k with 38,000 on the clock. Included alloys and rear parking camera. Very happy with the car all up. You see lots of them around. Price for that car seems good but maybe try to squeeze the extras out of them at end of month as suggested :)
Always go in at the end of the month and ask for the best price, they will bend over backwards to push for sales to reach monthly quota. For a base model it seems like a good deal, go into a few dealerships and get them to beat each others prices, they are all privately owned
