Applecare for iPhone, Worth it?

Hey Everyone,
I recently got a new iPhone and apparently we get 2 years warranty now? Is Applecare worth buying if I feel like keeping my phone for 3 years? Can anyone confirm that the warranty on iPhones is 2 years instead of the 1 year stated everywhere?

    Apple statutory warranty is 2 years and Apple care for phones is only 2 years total so absolutely not worth paying for it.
