My mother has just moved into an aged care facility today and we plan to install a 29" LCD/LED TV with DVD combo in her room. I have never bought a LCD TV before so I don't really know what to look for. The most important thing though is not picture quality but a easy to use/press remote control with big buttons if possible. The TV will be installed just beneath the ceiling on the wall, slightly to the right of her bed. I hope that means we don't have to worry about viewing angle range. Even if you don't have a recommendation, I would very much appreciate if you could let me know where to look. Price is not a big issue, it's fine as long as it's not outrageous.
Thanks
Ken
Not sure about getting exactly 29", but 28"-32" TVs are around $300-$500 nowadays, just depends on features and brands. As for remote, a universal remote can be used to replace the standard remote.
