  • Not getting free delivery :( $4.95 is showing up.

    • yeah. Sorry. I thought Free Shipping applies for all FREAKY FRIDAY deals.

  • Black ones are at $49

    • Hit refresh on your browser. It is $29.

      • Right you are. Ah well, got the white ones already :)

  • It should be free freight …

Thats what it says on the site

    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/shopping-with-us/delivery-inform…

So i would say Dickies dun stuffed up

    • +1

      you done messed up a-a-ron!

    • Further conditions apply.

Free Delivery Terms and Conditions: Free delivery is only valid on selected, marked products to retail customers purchasing through dicksmith.com.au and excludes Dick Smith Commercial, Wholesale or International customers. • The cable on my current earphones just started acting up… Do you guys think OW will price match this? I was keen on investing in some headphones but for $29 I'd be keen on getting these if I can get them from OW now.

    • +1

They'll price match for $29 + $4.95. They're great headphones for the price, beats most earphones out I daresay. And it's got a detachable cable so just swap it over when it starts acting up. :)

Just make sure you go to the DSE home page and click on the Freaky Friday banner to see the headphones. Don't seem to come up in search. If you're lucky, whoever is doing the price match will leave the shipping off if you innocuously point out the "Free Freight Friday" banner ;).

      • Thanks for the heads up WorkAround, I'll give them a visit soon :)

        • UPDATE: Ended up getting it from OW Hoxton Park and they even price beat it. Didn't need to show them free shipping too. I think they had 3 of the black ones left.

+1 for them having the Map Mia coffee machine in stock so i grabbed one of those too. (they had a few on the shelf but I wouldn't be surprised if they had more out back)
+1 for my Julius Marlow thongs and shoes coming in today as well.

      • Well its supposed to be free delivery so I'd try for that.

  • And … just checked in with DSEs online sales team.
Well after doing all the stupid menu choices just to talk to a human you find they are offline today = useless.

  • I bought these with the TDK EB320 in ears:

    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/earphones-headphones/tdk-eb320-i…

And both had free delivery, even though the Logitech's stated otherwise.

    Thanks OP

I managed to get onto their Facebook team and the shipping is free now :)

    • +1

      I can confirm this.

      • +1

Me too. Just bought a black one, and free shipping. Thanks all.

    • Ah jeez, I paid shipping. Now I'll have to chase them up for a refund =/

    • +1

      thanks ongbomb, good work!

  • I paid too , but have sent an email about. I want a refund also

    • +1

I paid too, but that was two days ago :)

  • +2

These push up against the ear not fully enclosing it, deal breaker for me can't wear them for any length of time. It's a shame, good quality and a great price.

    • +1

that is correct, these are not full sized headphones, the UE6000 gives much more ear comfort, I guess the same theory still applies - what you pay is what you get

  • +2

Just visited OW and price matched… from the short time I've owned these, I definitely recommend buying them. Worth way more than the $27.55 I paid.
The headphone splitter and case it comes with is also a great bonus!

    • +1

      Agree Mr Wipe.
Just did the same thing and paid $27.55.
      Value indeed.

  • +1

same here, got OW price matched…. cheaper than DSE.
for less than $30, quite a good headphone indeed…..
    enjoy!

  • Somebody stop me! This will be the fifth pair of headphones I've bought in as many months…

    Damn these bargains.

  • Can anyone confirm that the mic will work well with other phones (besides Apple's)?
I dont really use the remote so it doesnt really matter.
I've had problems when using Logitech in-ear headphones with Sony phones.

This was taken from the spec sheet:
"The remote and mic are supported only by iPod nano (4th generation or later), iPod classic (120 GB, 160 GB), iPod touch (2nd generation or later), iPhone 3GS or later, and iPad."

    • I was thinking the same question. Here's what google found - http://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=65867086&postcount=14

"You can use the play/pause/answer button for Android phones but not the volume up/down buttons".

      • Thats exactly right. Tested it on a Huawei G526 (android 4)with Google Play Music.
Pause/play yes. Track select or volume no.

    • The microphones on the Logitech UE headphones work fine with my Nokia Lumia 920, which is running Windows Phone 8, as well as with my Polycom VoIP desk phone.

  • Hi guys, am I missing something, what does OW mean?

  • Cheers Bob!
