We would have got return MEL to SYD for $2! But TIGER have changed their rules once again and now only accept Mastercard debit cards to avoid the convenience fee. It used to be VISA debit as well.
Cost $14 return with fees. Still good of course!

Couldn't agree more fma007. Tiger service leaves a lot to be desired. Especially the incredibly inconvenient 2 hr check-in time.
Check-in is 45 minutes before your flight, not 2 hours.

In early June, the deal was pay with Visa Debit or Mastercard Debit to bypass the "convenience fee". Now it's only Mastercard Debit.. Bugger!
