    good post

  • i got an ex-display AVR-2113 just the other week for $470 cos i missed out on the X2000 deal :(

  • Will it work in Oz out of the box?

    • Yep just needs a power cord

    • +2

UK/Europe have the same power as us, just a different plug shape.

      • Yep just chop the UK plug off and pop on an Aus one. Or just buy a whole cable if you need to return at any stage.

        • +2

It uses a detachable standard kettle cord.

  • I'm looking to start my home Theatre sound build soon..

    Is this a good start?

I'm clueless on the audio end :/

It'll be for a dedicated HT

  • with that sort of item I'd be checking the warranty/return policy, they are heavy large items - you wouldn't want to have to pay for shipping back to UK for repair. I once had a Denon which failed, got repaired under warranty - it got boxed up when I went overseas and blew up after a few months use when I got back to AU (totaling about a year use), no more Denon for me, I'm going with Yamaha for my next, cambridge audio atm but it's getting old, I'd get another cambridge fore sure but too expensive :(

  • I missed out on the X2000, took too long to make a decision. Just ordered this one, has digital outputs to zone 2 which is a ncie feature to ahve.

  • I'm having a good run with buying large ticket items from Amazon atm. Woke up to a couple of emails

    Hello,

We're sorry for the delay in fulfilling the order you placed on June 11 2014 (Order# xxxxxxx-xxx-xxx-) for the following item(s):

"Denon AVR-X3000 7 Channel Integrated Network Receiver with DTS-NEO:X, Airplay, Spotify and 4K Video Scaling - BlackDear Customer,

We are writing to confirm that we are processing your refund in the amount of £73.29 for your Order

    • so you ordered it, then your order was cancelled?

  • Waiting for SteveandBelle to enter thread…:-)

  • Am i correct to assume that this and most other 7.1 amps now no longer offer the A/B speaker switching?

    • +1

This one does not, not sure if any of the current Denon line-up do it anymore and like you said if anyone does it.

  • Are these reliable? Just worried about warranty.. I've looked into the unit and looking to get one to pair with some Aaron speakers and svs sub

  • Hi,

Not sure about you guys, but it is coming up as £332.50 when in the basket and choosing delivery in Australia which works out to be around $597.

Can you guys double check please?

    Thanks,

    G.

    • I'm getting 396GBP

      Or $746 :(
How do i get it down to $715?
      Did I miss the boat..

      • Not sure.

        I am getting the following;

        http://grab.by/xMoW

        Today that amount is $600

It should remove the VAT and increase shipping for Australia.

        • Looks like 332.5 GBP is the price with VAT removed, and 396.79 GBP is the price with shipping (64.29 GBP to NSW) - with Amazon's conversion rate that's $745.54 AUD.

  • Mine arrived yesterday, good work to Amazon UK standard post!

    • Would be good to see some pics and how you get on :)

      Congrats on the new toy

      • So how does it go??? Any issues with it being a UK model? Power works fine? AM/FM radio work properly?
