An opportunity for Corsair SP2500 speakers

I'm not sure where to post this but I have recently been given the opportunity to purchase a set of Corsair SP2500 2.1 speakers (see this Whirlpool thread for a good discussion of them http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1676702) for much cheaper ($190) than the best static ice price of $255. The caveat is that the seller is shipping from Hong Kong but they're not a retailer as such but a kind of vendor for "remaindered" stock (I know remainders are books but they sell all sorts of random stuff). Usually the goods are marked in some way, similar to remaindered books, but these speakers are not. I am assuming that there is no warranty on these but they will honour any DOA sets with a refund.

The reason I'm posting is because there are 20 sets available at this price and I wanted to share with the OzBargain community. I am painfully aware that this sounds like a scam but I am confident that it isn't because a friend has bought other stuff from them in the past and it's all been legitimate (hundreds of dollars worth of cosmetics that were confirmed by the manufacturer, not the vendor, to be not out of date and not stolen).

I understand that there are alternatives (I have owned a pair of Audioengines and are currently using Swan M10s) and that $65 might not be worth losing warranty for but I will be getting a set despite this because I think the ~25% discount is worth it given the reviews. It's entirely up to you to decide if it's worth it.

If anyone is interested in the details, PM me.

PS apologies if this isn't the right forum for this.
