I have spent a few days having a look online for best price for a Synology DS414 NAS (not the DS414j or DS414+). Best price I have found delivered is $555.99 from mwave.com.au
Almost ready to pull the trigger on it but wanted to see if any fellow OzBargainers can help a brother out with any better deals they may know of.

I think Synology are better at making sure their prices are fixed than Apple.

Did you end up getting the DS414, as I'm looking to get one for home, but as I'm sure you know, Synology products aren't discounted much.
Argh now I'm looking to get one. Been looking the past few months and havent seen any on special except for the 'j' models. Did anyone manage to find a good price for this? Best I can find is $539 at Stone Computers.
I think its pretty tough to find a deal on Synology products. Im on the hunt myself and haven't seen a whole lot around.
