This is the cheapest price in the world at the moment. I have checked against ebay, amazon UK and US and Rakuten International. An excellent razor and you don't need the cleaning station as you can wash it.
Panasonic ES-LV65 5 Blade Wet/Dry Electric Shaver $249.95 Was $499.95 @ Shaver Shop

Just wondering if people have ever tried bargaining with shaver shop. I was eyeing a clipper but salesperson didnt want to give a discount. So does it mean this shaver is only cheap because head office says so?
Bought one at the start of the sale. Its awesome…had a Braun b4 this, but this shaves as good as a razor, and can shave your face in 3-5 mins. I've also got serious handlebars and its no problems to sculpt around. Tried a haggle but no go - it is a cheap price for this unit. You don't need the cleaning bay unless you are lazy, and want the ongoing cost of sachets which don't last long as the alcohol based cleaner evaporates quickly (informed by sales person).
Rrp of $500 is overpriced.
Its prob worth around this price. It is big. For the upper lip, flip the unit upside down ( power button facing your nose). I don't really 'style' so can't comment on that. The trimmer could be better.
Yes it is overpriced. Top line panasonics always are. But remember it's US $379 on Amazon.I bought one after my Philips RQ1290 died 5 months out of warranty from the Shaver Shop.
I can say this Panasonic LV65 shaves better for me than the Philips.
Closer shave, not having to go over the same place more than twice and also shaves my neck much better.
The cleaning station for my Philips was left unused as the cleaning solution was an expensive ongoing cost that I no longer wanted to pay.
Like all my electric shavers, after every use, run it under warm running tap water for 5 sec and it's just as clean.
Shaver Shop wouldn't budge on price any further. It's probably their cost price.
They tried to sell me Shaver Guard (lube) and this macadamia oil face balm.BTW the replacement blades + foil set is $100. It should last 2 - 3 years according to the manual.
I checked this one earlier last month. It's huge!! I share some concerns raised by a few about using it around lips, styling etc. Other than that appears to be the best one around
