The lifeline bookfest started today and they have some awesome deals going. There are separate sections for $1 books, $2.50 books and more expensive ones. There are also $1 CDs, comics, movies and DVDs. There was a huge amount of stock left after today, and there are some great bargains to be found. It is described as the largest second-hand book sale event in the world.
The Bookfest opens again at 8.30am tomorrow until 7pm at the Brisbane Convention Centre.
I went there today, I was unsure whether it would be smaller because it is only a 3 day event this time around, but it isn't! it was just as full with books as 6 months ago.
