Brand new Woolworths has just opened up at "Double Bay, No need to Pay" samples of prawns, bread, cheeses, salads, dips, sausages, kebab skewers + more.

The have the connoisseur ice cream range at $4.50 a tub, which i couldn't see advertised in the catalogue. Heaps of stock because the store has just opened!

PLUS Triple M are there giving away doughnuts, pastries and lollies and some dvds and cds as part of a competition.

PLUS PLUS Dan murphys has also opened next door! they've got a few opening specials plus heaps of free samples of single malts, wines, champagne + more. (nobody can resist free alcohol right?)

Also if you go in the next hour Ricky Ponting will be there too!

I went there without eating breakfast and came out full!

  Oh the indignity of queuing for freebies in Double Bay on a long weekend. How the neighbourhood has fallen! :-)

    Dan's was even sampling the cheap stuff either. Had some Glenmorangie which was very nice

      if you go on one of the "scotch weekends" or "champagne weekends" they often sample some very expensive stuff. I went to the champagne one in the past and they were opening $100 bottles of bubbles. Glad i did as i found a lot of the cheaper champagnes were my favourites (i.e. mumm nv much better than the vintage of that year etc..)
