Tablet advice - ASUS Transformer

I'm looking to buy a new ~10" tablet, I previously owned an older ASUS Transformer and thought it was terrific, is there somewhere doing a good deal on any of the later models, with the keyboard chassy? Alternatively, is there a different ~10" tablet you'd recommend instead?

  • Dunno about deals, but the Asus Transformer Tf701T is pretty nice

  • you may like to give us some more details like budget and features you would like to have or are important to you…

  • I'm curious about the answer to this too. I'm in exactly the same situation, or is it worth waiting for the speculated new Nexus?

  • +1

Right now those new Galaxy note pro tablets are looking really good, though they are pricey. Im pretty sure Bing Lee are giving the galaxy keyboard free with the tab, though that might only be in the store I went to.

Transformers are great (I still use my prime) but a problem I see with it is that the software is just basic, there is no added value anything particularly unique in that department.

  • I think Asus has moved on from the Android tablet market. They didn't want to innovate, or even try.

    • They have made the last 2 nexus tabs…

    • They focus more on the low end, and they make the Nexuses for Google because that's a low risk investment (and mind you, the N7 2013 is still one of the best Android tablets with one of the best displays on the market). They did update their own flagship TF701 Infinity last December, but like the model before it, it's ridiculously hard to get a hold of because Asus doesn't think it's worth releasing in many markets. Hard to compete with the iPad.
