Hi I joined a while ago & forgot about your site to be honest. It's been great to be able to have a look around & read what people have to say about different things.

The main thing I'm looking for is how to use & utilise the internet more as I really am a dinosaur with blogs, facebook, live messaging etc. I really am looking for a free dummies guide to the internet & software to run on my computer & how to use it.

I also want to have a webpage (I know how to organise getting that & the hosting side) - but not sure how even that all works either & I am in the process of writing a book on "Life".

So call me stupid or whatever you want, but I know I need all the help I can get. Please. :)

    Hi i am not sure one book will cover what you are after, anything i want to do i google it and there is always an answer buried in there . Guess they key is research the net if thats what interests you.

    Thanks for your comments however I'm still unable to find a easy solution to blogging & live messaging? even with googling or Ask.

    go to blogger.com and start a basic blog there, easy peasy.

      +1 for that. Or WordPress.com — they are really hassle free (and cost free) blogging sites. You might also want to visit the forums at http://www.aussiebloggers.com.au/forum/ and ask questions there, and you'll get good advice from many Australian bloggers.
