Great price. Tempted to buy modem / router as a spare, as my 8960 has been running 24 /7 for about 4 years,(in un air conditioned room in Cairns) and downloaded squillions of movies, tv shows etc via wifi.
It must be due to die soon?
I had this modem for the past year, it's good and cheap, does the job well. I paid $58 at msy ultimo. Cons include not reaching all areas of the house (bricked wall) and front yard. Might be a problem if you have a big or long house.
I've had a few TP-Link modems before.
All seem to have the same issue which required it to be returned.After a while the DNS stops working to the same computer, requires a reboot of the PC to fix, sometimes even requires a reboot of the modem to fix.
You might say "Its your computer's fault since a reboot works", however all my computers work perfectly with other branded routers, just TP-Link ones seem to have a issue.
