Lowest price on staticICE is $249.
Shipping seems to be $9-$10 unless you are in WA in which case it's about $19.

I believe it is apart from being OC as stock and the twin fans (own a normal r9 270)
it's a refreshed version of a previous architecture—in this case, the AMD Radeon HD 7870. Specifically, it's a drop-in replacement for that chip, but at slightly higher clock speeds.
More accurately this would be the 7870 Ghz Edition:

Tempting considering what it normally costs (looking for a new card myself….)
I'm hearing mixed things about Centercom…anyone have any good experiences with them?
Yup, I walked in to buy a backlit keyboard and saw a bunch of Gigabyte "Something Cheap"s KB + mice combos for $9, took them to the counter and they scanned at $7. The guy then changed it to $6 because I had to wait a while to be served. In the end I bought 4 sets of keyboards and mice for $24, useful for spares, quick replacements etc. They didn't, however, have the keyboard I actually wanted in stock at that store.
From their sale last Thursday I ordered a Corsair Raptor M30 Gaming Mouse for $3 (+7.20 shipping)
Considering it sells for $45+ elsewhere I was expecting to receive an email saying it was a pricing error, however Friday morning I received an email with a tracking number. Arrived yesterday, brand new and sealed :)
They also had some Gigabyte Aivia Osmium Mechanical Gaming Keyboards for $4.50
I would be interested to hear if anyone who ordered one received it.
One of my mates got the Gigabyte mech keyboards and a rat 7 (i think it was rat 7, less than $10 as well) the other day, he thought same thing about price error and was expecting them to get canceled but got a tracking number and now just waiting for them to arrive.
I'm guessing all were price errors they just let them items slide. They seem to be trying to do things a bit better now days by the looks, but haven't personally bought from centre com for a very long time.
An R9 270x is a HD7870 in the old naming system?
