Does anyone know of some bargains regarding the gopro's?
I have seen the white gopro hereo 3 @ Harvey Norman for $268 (advertised online) but haven't found anything cheaper.
Anyone willing to share some knowledge? This is my first action cam, so even some advice would be great :)
There is a new model coming really shortly (I made the mistake of buying the Hero2 shortly before the 3 came out and was a little disappointed I didn't wait.
Best deal I have seen on the 3+ Black (long expired) - once you see it that "cheap" you'd be hard pressed to even consider some of the typical deals on the 3+ Black.

4k @ 30fps is rumoured on the next model, I think its a must have for anyone considering a 4k TV or monitor in the next year or so.
4K will actually be overload. First of all I doubt too many people have 4K monitors to edit them on. Second of all I doubt too many people will have 4K TVs to watch them on.
The trick is to never be an early adopter when it comes to technology.
hmmm….. fair point, we are talking about a $350 mini cam here not a $45,000 TV
A memory card that supports the write speeds required for 4K @ 30fps is likely going to be hundreds of dollars…. do they even exist yet?
I might be wrong but to me 4k still a few years from now to really take off. if on a budget I would even get the Hero 3 non plus if you find one really cheap JBhifi had a few for $330 weeks ago but it has now gone from the website. I would prefer the 3 black than the 3+ white.
thanks for all of your comments and advice. I have looked at the white and found that Big w have it for $268 as well so it may be coming down across the board (here's hoping). I think the plus model is definitely a better buy for quality but there's always the $$ to consider :)
Hey just following on from these comments. I am in the market for a GoPro HERO3+ black edition as well and I was wondering what the cheapest I could get it online would be (Oz stock) so that I could get it price matched at JB hifi (They would price match for OZ stock found online right?). I'm in a hurry cos I'll be travelling to Europe within the next week so I can't wait for another DJ deal unfortunately :(

Keep an eye on Catch of the day. The GoPro Hero 3+ Silver was up for $299 + delivery a few times in recent weeks. It may be an import.
