30

I was at Shellharbour Woolworths this morning and saw that they have a range of snow gear on sale. I did a quick google search and snowatch.com.au had a brief mention of it and referenced the Woolworths Facebook page for details/pictures. You can scroll through, there are 6 pictures on the album.

List of Woolworths stores snow gear available at - http://woolies-comp.bgapps.co/assets/docs/Ski_Store_List_by_…

The gear looks ok, probably not as good as the Aldi gear. There are no ratings or anything, the clothing has Thinsulate 3M labels on them though.

Ski/Snowboard Jackets - $45 (Adult) $30 (Child)
Ski/Snowboard Pants - $30 (Adult) $20 (Child)
Winter Boots - $29 (Mens/Ladies) $20 (Girls/Boys)
Gloves - $12.50 (Adult) $6.50 (Child)
Also some polar fleece beanies/scarves etc. available for $3.95 - $5.95.

It feels like the quality isn't as good as ALDI

Saw this gear at the supermarket the other night. Not sure I would want to be out in the wilds of the high country trusting this stuff to keep me warm and dry but if you need something for the dash from the ski lodge to the pub or something warm to wear to the kids footy games in August, probably OK! I wouldn't recommend for anybody wanting to do some serious skiing/boarding.

    • Agreed. Might be okay in some situations, but probably not as ski gear.

  • i am planning to ski in snowy mountain area this year for the very first time. please SNOW!!!!
