Sydney to Melbourne? Cheap Flights/Sales? Early July. Accomodation as well.

Was thinking of going Melbourne Early July (for a few days), and was wondering were there any good deals on flights there from Sydney to Melbourne Return. Also any websites/particular hotels I should book to stay (few - several people, small group going).
