  • It's a very tight schedule but do-able. Depends on the whether in say London though. If it's raining, you may not be able to see everything you want. Generally I'd like to have a spare day up my sleeve. No idea what Clue Quest Thames is, but sounds intriguing ^o)
As long as you're not crazy like my mate when I've gone travelling with him. Don't get drunk and have a hangover the next day(s) and then not get to see anything then repeat for every new city we visit. You've picked some good cities to go see there. Make sure you go see the Pope while in Rome.

  • Best plan is not to have everything planned out to the nth degree. Flexibility is key be able enjoy everything you come across whilst travelling.

  • I think most of the time you allocated in the cities is reasonable but that's a long time to be in Rome, though I really did love it there. I personally think 3 full days there is enough. If you can, try to organize a day tour to Pompeii and pay a guide when you get there. I would highly recommend a couple of days up north in the Cinque Terra region - stunning place!

Also make sure you pre-arrange your soccer tix for London. The EPL are really strange when it comes to foreigners attending their matches. Pretty sure you can go online and pay to borrow a member's card which they can just drop off and pick up at your hotel

Enjoy your trip, you'll have a blast!

  • In my opinion 2 days in nice should be enough, unless you hire a car and go to verdon gorge.

That goes for Florence as well 2 days should be plenty.
if you get bored in Florence take a day trip to Cinque Terre (early in the morning)and on the way back stop over at Pisa.

I adore Rome and probably could stay there for a week. But if you decide you have seen enough while your there, you can make changes go down to Naples/Amalfi/Sorento (hire a scooter and go for a coastal ride).

There are some day tours to Naples from Rome if you don't want to change accommodation.

    Enjoy!!
